Nicholas Kotsiras, Minister for Multicultural
Affairs and Minister for Energy and Resources of Victoria, met with Dora
Bakoyannis, former Foreign Minister of Greece and former mayor of Athens,
during her private visit to Melbourne last week. Amongst other subjects, the
two discussed the state of affairs in Greece, including its economy, the
political landscape and the rise of Golden Dawn. They agreed that Greek
Australians need to promote Greece as a holiday destination for Australians
wishing to travel to Europe.
