Fires on the island of Kythera

Fires on the island of Kythera that started around midday on 18 July and although they looked under control this morning once again flared this afternoon. There were at least 2 fire fighting planes that were bombing the fires with water, as the area is very inaccessible near the monastery of Agia Elessa.
