Dear Friends of Kythera,
the party is on. We're celebrating our tenth year of online cultural
archiving for the Kytherian community. And you're all invited.
Date: Wednesday 24th of July, 2013
Time: 7pm and later
Venue: the Windmill Resort in Mitata (complete with pool -
tell the kids to bring their swimmers!). Just follow the signs on your way from
Frilingianika to Mitata. Map below.www.thewindmillresort.com.
On offer: Lots of food and soft-drinks (you can buy alcoholic
beverages at the bar)
Entry: €15 for a wonderful night! Kids under 16 are
free.
Sketch your family tree before you come and make a few copies with your
contact details on it and we'll do our best to connect you with long lost
relatives. We'll try to get a projector and screen to show hundreds of vintage
photos submitted to Kythera-Family.net over the last 10 years. If you have any other ideas of entertaining
cultural activities for the evening don't hesitate to suggest them.
Please let us know if you are coming and how many family members and extras
you will be bringing so we can plan for the right amount of food this time - at
our 5th year anniversary you overwhelmed us and we had to scramble to fill the
hungry masses.
We're looking forward to welcoming you on the evening of the 24th!
