Some of the
finds from this year's Mentor shipwreck excavation will be shown at the Molo in
Avlemonas at this afternoon (Sat, July 6th) at 6.30pm.
It was a
ship carrying Parthenon Sculptures in 1802, and sank off Kythera.
This is a
very special opportunity because objects discovered will leave for Athens the
next day and may not be on display in a museum for years.
